Dr. Rebecca Edgeworth is a third-generation Nevadan, practicing physician, and the only doctor currently serving in the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 35, including Southern Highlands and Mountains Edge. Born at Nellis Air Force Base and raised in Las Vegas, she earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida before returning home to complete her training at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. As both a physician and legislator, Dr. Edgeworth brings firsthand healthcare experience to public policy, working to expand access to care for underserved communities while remaining closely connected to the needs of Nevada patients and providers. She also serves as a Professor at Touro University Nevada, where she helps educate and train the next generation of physicians and healthcare professionals.
